Haus Langesthal - Bed and Breakfast
,House Langesthal’ was built in 1844 under the titleĀ ,Castle Wetzlar’ and was monument of the wealthy texture industry which prospered in the area around Eupen. It is embedded in a park with trees older than the house itself and on one side confined by the river ,Weser’ which nestles its way through the rocks ands springs from the nearby reservoir dam called the Talsperre.
The carefully and chic interior in, which the guest is attentively cared for by the Family of Dr. Dassel, is also provided with two cozy fireplaces and a large library of antique books for keen mind to linger. The exterior of the house offers several romantic spots throughout the park and a beautiful terrace on the backside perfectly fitted for a cultivated relaxation experience.
The family of former Ambassador Dr. Peter Dassel has gained considerable experience in the accommodation of international visitors throughout their years in diplomatic service and is even today eager to expand this experience with your visit.
The house offers three guestrooms with own bathroom which can be rented as Single or Double Bed Rooms.
Beyond the service of a mere Bed & Breakfast we are also suited to cater for events of up 15-20 persons presupposing a timely application.
In close vicinity to ,Haus Langesthal’ gather several nice restaurants offering traditional Belgian cuisine. The area around Eupen spanning Netherlands and Germany is also commonly known as the Three Frontier Gourmet Triangle.

If you are interested in hiking than Eupen can serve as an ideal departure point for walks around the Herthogenwald or the reservoir dam ,Talsperre’. Or to the High Moor ,Hohes Venn’ a very rare natural attraction.
Naturally Eupen offers a reliable and dense infrastructure. There are frequent buses into town and to Aachen.
